“This place hasn’t been open long but is already pretty popular. Good food and massive portions for a decent price. We got the jerk chicken and shrimp which came with rice. I don’t usually get drinks but there was such a big range I had to try a Japanese Fanta. Would recommend to come to try some authentic Jamaican food run by a sound owner who really cares about his food and customers.”

“I just had the most incredible Jamaican food experience 🔥 We ordered curry goat, jerk chicken, chicken wings, and plantain — and honestly, every single thing was top notch. The flavors were unreal… rich, perfectly spiced, and just cooked to perfection. I genuinely can’t even put into words how good the food was. On top of that, the service was so quick and smooth, and the guy serving us was genuinely one of the nicest people — made the whole experience even better. If you’re thinking about trying this place, DO IT. I’ll definitely be going back 🙌 Me and my partner took the rest home we couldn’t leave it behind🙏🏼”

“I’ve had Caribbean food quite a few times from different restaurants and honestly, most of them left me disappointed usually lacking flavour and spice. This place was completely different. The food came out quickly and everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. The oxtail with rice and peas was delicious, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. The jerk chicken was banging as well, properly spiced and packed with flavour. The portion sizes were massive. The only thing that didn’t really stand out for me were the dumplings but overall this was easily one of the best Caribbean spots I’ve tried.”

“Exceptional Experience at Smithy Browns! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Smithy Browns, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve ever visited! Although we aren’t locals, we decided to explore the area with our children and stumbled upon this gem. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They were incredibly attentive, even altering dishes to meet our requirements and ensuring we received the best takeaway service possible. It was clear they genuinely care about their customers. The food was simply extraordinary. Each dish we tried was bursting with flavor and of a quality I’ve never experienced before. Plus, knowing that everything was halal made our visit even more enjoyable. I would gladly drive the hour from my home just to enjoy a meal here again. If my husband suggested a dinner trip to Smithy Browns, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. Thank you for a fantastic experience! We can’t wait to return soon!”
